Zoom triggers full-screen flickering issue - need specific details?
Hi,
I’m looking for guidance on a problem where the screen flickers unexpectedly during meetings. I’ve checked many forums and references, focusing on issues with refresh rate settings or hardware acceleration, but nothing helped. The situation is confusing, and I’m not sure how to proceed. Could someone point me toward a clear, step-by-step solution? I’m using a Windows 10 64-bit system fully updated on a Lenovo E15. Thanks!
Update your post with complete system hardware details.
Next, review the provided Zoom link: https://support.zoom.us/hc/en-us/article...-and-Linux.
Assess the compatibility of your Lenovo E15 with Zoom’s system requirements and supported devices, browsers, etc.
Identify any apparent limitations.
Examine Task Manager and Resource Monitor (either one at a time) to monitor performance.
Perform the checks using administrative privileges.
Start by observing without Zoom active, then proceed once it is running.
Expand testing to include single and multiple participants during meetings.
During live sessions, briefly notify attendees you are conducting tests.
Keep the Resource Monitor or Task Manager window open to observe system behavior.
The displayed graphs can be useful for analysis.
Focus on the identified "weak link" as a reference point.
If no issues are detected, investigate other resources in use.
You should be able to recognize certain events or conditions linked to the observed flickering.
Hi,
Thank you for the advice. I’ll keep an eye on this during my next discussion.
For now, here’s more about my setup:
The E15 I’m using is the standard for this model and includes:
i5-10210U CPU @ 1.60GHz, 2101 MHz, 4 cores, 16 GB RAM
Windows 10 x64 fully updated.
This means there’s no compatibility issue.
Are there any other aspects I should check that seem simple and won’t need deep investigation during a live session?
Thanks in advance!
