Zero-disk motherboard firmware
Hey, your PC has been running for about five months now. During today’s cleaning and wiring, I had to take out the RAM sticks—two 8GB DDR4 units. When I reassembled it and powered it back on, only one stick was recognized. After reinserting it properly on the motherboard (Crosshair VIII Dark Hero), it started up successfully but reported a 0 error code. I tried moving the stick to another slot and it resolved the issue. You’re wondering if there’s a way to fix the A2 slot, especially since it detected the stick but gave the error, because you want to make use of dual-channel performance and it feels inconvenient. (I didn’t include your CPU model: Ryzen 7 5800x.)
Are the remaining slots functional? If it's just the A2 port, you can insert the rams sticks into A1 and B1, which should still support dual channel.
