Z590i Ultra and 11700k High Core Voltages offer advanced performance options.
Hello, I'm working to improve my PC performance. It often runs at high CPU voltages—between 1.35v and 1.45v—even when it's idle. At 5ghz it spikes to 1.5v or more, which feels unstable. I've tried disabling Multi-Core Enhancement, adjusting voltage settings to normal, and adding a 100mv offset, but it still causes crashes or instability. I'm not very familiar with voltage control or overclocking, and the Aorus BIOS documentation is unclear. The manual doesn’t help much. Ideally, I want my CPU to run at stock speeds of 4.6ghz at 1.25v or 5ghz at 1.35v, but I’m unsure what changes are needed. There’s limited information about Aorus on forums or YouTube, and since manufacturing names vary, I’m feeling stuck. Please share your system details if you can, and any guidance would be appreciated.
Launch BIOS, navigate to the Tweaker options. Move down to the CPU Vcore section. On the right side of the adjustable settings, you'll see all the standard voltages. Experiment by applying each listed setting and compare the results with the default values the board selects automatically. This board uses a 11600K and tends to increase the required VCCSA voltage when using X.M.P profiles.
