I'll preface this by saying i don't build for looks, as for the reasons for the master, it's basically the best motherboard in that price range, the taichi is good for 4 sticks of ram. Having parts from the same company only makes a difference in cosmetics. the 3900xt is expected to be the same price as the 3900x. If you need a pc now just get the 3900x or 3950x if money is not an issue. The 3900x were shown to be poor bins on launch and that's part of the reason i suggested waiting for the xt.
