Z390 AORUS PRO or MASTER for Intel Core i5 9600KF
Z390 AORUS PRO or MASTER for Intel Core i5 9600KF
If you haven't already bought the processor, I'd recommend skipping 8th and 9th gen i5s, in favor of waiting until Comet Lake's release, which dictates 6 core 12 threaded i5s, or get a Ryzen 5 3600 now. Assuming your mind cannot be changed on your processor selection, and those two boards are your only choices, I'd probably go with the Pro, and invest the savings into something else. Whether that be SSD, better peripherals, etc. In my opinion buying a high end motherboard for a confirmed dead end socket just doesn't make much sense to me personally, but that's just my opinion. If it were me, 3600 + B450 Tomahawk/Max is the ticket.
If you haven't made a purchase yet, you might want to think about your choice between team red and team blue. Intel's latest products, particularly in the mid-range to budget range, haven't been very impressive. If you're committed to an Intel CPU, it might be wise to wait for their 7nm improvements. Alternatively, you could explore AMD's recent releases, which have shown strong value for money recently.
I own the graphics card and need to repurpose it, it's a Radeon Saphire RX580 with 8 gigabytes. I might look into AMD options.
And the budget is under 800, I’m not sure what else I can offer... Haha!
Yes, these components can work well together. The Ryzen 5 3600X pairs nicely with the X570 AORUS Elite and the high-speed DDR4 T-Force Xtreme Argb 4000, offering strong performance.
