It seems designed for power use; testing is necessary. If it's a bent pin, you might be able to repair it—Linus has made videos on similar fixes. If the issue isn't there, you likely won't be able to fix it unless you remove the pin from another board and re-solder it.

I noticed the video Linus made. Unfortunately, the pin is entirely missing. From what I found online, some motherboards can operate without certain pins, so it’s possible this one might still work. I’m not sure, but it could be worth a try since it’s a pretty solid motherboard.

It’s fine to try it out. It seems like a power pin, though it might function without one. You could always use a spare pin from another motherboard and solder it in. Plus, it’s already damaged.

Unfortunately, I don’t have the ability or expertise to solder a pin back onto a socket. I was mainly curious about whether it could be done without that particular pin.

They mentioned it never worked from the prior owner, which meant it never posted. My wording was off; I really meant it never functioned. The board powers on, showing a red blinking LED with a CPU label, but I’m unsure if it’s because it’s running without a CPU in the slot or if the pin is damaged.
