Did you give it to someone who doesn’t fully grasp the internet, possibly downloading malware that steals GPU resources without your awareness?

Are you sure it's running on your dGPU and not on your iGPU? As the previous person said, check for programs running in the background and check your installed programs. Even though it's unlikely that there's mining software running because if you never gave it to a friend, chances are that there won't be any mining software on it so his point is arguable
