These are all AM3+ boards, specifically the GA-970A-UD3P (rev. 2.1) and the ASUS M5A97 R2.0 / M5A97 LE R2.0. They come with working memory, CPU, GPU, and PSU. When trying to connect the power pins, nothing occurs and after about 20 seconds the system powers up, fans start, and it draws power from the PSU. There’s no display output and the CPU doesn’t heat up, though the chipset does. I’ve attempted: CMOS reset, BIOS flash, various CPU generations and PSUs, different power supplies, another monitor, and new memory. It seems these boards might be non-functional, but perhaps a fix is possible.

Is there any way to install a 4-pin speaker on the boards? Beep codes are really helpful.

They should have noted that. I attempted this with two distinct speakers, but unfortunately they don’t provide any kind of signal for them. Recent extended tests have also revealed that the VRMs become hot and the CPU stays slightly warm.

It seems there might be no beep codes being received, which suggests the components could be faulty.
