Hello everyone, wondering if anyone else experiences this issue with Google Chrome. I've confirmed it's working on Firefox too, and Chrome seems up-to-date. It's odd that YouTube blocks Chrome even though both are owned by the same company.

Seems to be a malicious software or browser control tool.

A person created an extension that interfered with YouTube, then joined an affiliate program with Opera. This setup allows them to earn a minimal payment whenever someone clicks the link.

Thanks for the update. I've confirmed the browser and extensions are normal. It seems to be functioning now—maybe it was just a temporary issue.

This was my first reaction. It seems the link leads to a harmful site that installs a fake Opera version which is actually malware.

I initially faced the same problem on phone, laptop, and desktop, but everything returned to normal after about 10 to 15 minutes. I also checked mobile data to eliminate DNS poisoning.

The issue isn't pointing you to Opera, and the screenshot wasn't created by YouTube. There seems to be something unusual happening.

If it occurs again, I’ll attempt to capture the screen using the Web Dev Inspector open. Just don’t grasp how it might happen across Linux, Windows, desktop, Android, and mobile networks at the same time.

No, not necessarily. The question implies a possibility but doesn't confirm it.
