I attempt to view videos on YouTube, but after a short time I encounter an error. I have installed Flash. I received a tech preview on Windows 10 since I don’t want to buy another version.

Is there audio active in your setup? Are your headphones or speakers configured to use the primary sound source?

Firefox is causing issues with your display settings. The new 1080p/720p at 60fps isn't working as expected, affecting your previous selections. It won't even hit 30fps now, leading to grey static and errors. Try a different browser until the problem gets resolved.

Firefox functions well. Presently, Google restricts 60 frames per second for Firefox, though this situation is changing.

The sound functions properly. I also encounter an issue when I try to shut down the computer.

The most recent version of Windows 10 is 9860. You'll find the version number in the bottom-right corner of the screen, above the clock. Ensure you're using the latest release.

Before beginning, ensure your system has the most recent Windows updates. After installation, locate PC Settings via the Start menu search. Navigate to the Update & Recovery area and select the Preview Build section. Click it to proceed. The Download button will appear; press it without closing the settings window or moving away. You’ll see a waiting animation with no progress bar (improved in Build 9860). After starting, wait for the 2.73GB file to download. Once finished, click the Install button. The installation will begin and may take some time. When complete, you’ll reach Build 9860, where you can verify your updates are installed. If issues arise, consider reinstalling or restarting the sound card drivers.

Using the speed you have now would finish the download in roughly half an hour. I think I’ll wait until later or tomorrow.
