YouTube seems to be restricting Proton VPN. It appears this is deliberate, as I sometimes see the homepage load before it confirms my offline status. I’ll try various configurations and share updates. So far, Firefox works best with Proton set to "fastest country", "Streaming", and "Max Security". With Max Security it loads some content but fails to play videos. I've used Proton VPN for months without issues until recently (about a week ago during vacation).
YouTube is currently unavailable globally. This highlights just how extensive the issue is.
