I’m just starting with Linux and I installed Ubuntu 16.04 as my distro—it’s working fine. Before the OS loads, I see a black-and-white screen with some commands appearing, and it happens when shutting down too. My machine is an HP ProBook 450 G1 with 4 gigabytes of RAM, an Intel i5-4200M processor at 2.50 GHz, and an internal graphics card called Intel HD Graphics 4600. I’m hoping the Linux community has a solution for this issue. Please check that link if you need more details: https://askubuntu.com/questions/1003645/...me-for-shu

The duration varies depending on the context, but it typically aligns with system behavior patterns in Linux environments.

Linux handles things the way it always has. All distributions follow the same approach.
