You connected it and removed the pins from the board. Repairs seem improbable... It looks like a front USB or front audio connection.
I spent about five minutes just staring at that photo trying to figure out what was going on. It seems like a "cheater cable" that makes it easier to plug in power and reset. Check the main board—see which two connectors are for power and which for resetting. Then attach the front panel connectors there. Still, you’ll need to plug the LED connectors directly into the main board, so the cable just adds extra clutter and hassle. Probably not worth it.
