You're still experiencing issues with overclocking the Ryzen 3 2200G.
Yesterday I successfully increased my RAM speed from 2400mhz to 3466 MHz at 1.35v Max. However, when attempting to overclock the CPU again, it refuses to enter advanced mode. My B450 chipset is what I want to push to 4.0ghz, but there are other problems too. Additionally, the RGB lighting for my cooler MasterMaster cooling 120lrgb isn’t working, and even the built-in fan isn’t functioning properly. It seems like the lights are the only issue.
My setup includes:
Ryzen 3 2200g
MSI B450i Gaming Plus AC
Team Plus 16GB 2400mhz single channel
Cooler Master M120 RGB Lite
Intel 256GB SSD
Evga Fully Modular 550w Gold Certified
MSI Radeon RX580 8GB v1
Cooler Master Q300L
It's probably the overclocking settings for your RAM that are preventing the CPU from overclocking, which might seem confusing at first, but a friend encountered a similar issue and suggests trying to overclock the CPU instead. I wouldn't bother with single-channel RAM on a Ryzen system; dual-channel would be better.
