Trying to remove a screw from your motherboard, but it continues to spin.
Determine if the screw is the issue or the entire standoff. If both are tightly bound and the standoff spins, remove the board with the standoff attached, then secure it with a matching socket while gently turning the screw free. Once done, swap the standoff and screw, then reinstall. If the screw resists, carefully insert a fingernail under its head and apply slight upward pressure to loosen it.
