Hello @hinzwifi. We face the same issue with Globe Fiber Home Router. You must turn off the AP isolation security on your device. Log in as superadmin through the router's web interface using the credentials: username fiberhomesuperadmin and password sfuhgu. Then activate Telnet Switch. Launch Command Prompt on Windows or Linux and run the following commands: C:\WINDOWS\System32>telnet 192.168.254.254 ------acl IP:192.168.254.xxx------ Login: gepon Password: gepon After that, set the password for the switch to gepon. Navigate to Config# cd switch and enter control port_fw_eligiblity disable. You’ll receive a success message. You should be able to ping connected devices via LAN cables. P.S. Make sure your Wi-Fi is connected properly—avoid using Guest networks like AN5506_04F1A. Edited December 28, 2021 by LanceDdot.

Hello, thank you for your message. I understand you're facing issues with the Fiberhome AN5506-04-F. You can ping and SSH from a Windows PC on WLAN to a Linux PC on LAN, but connections between two Linux or two Windows PCs on the same LAN aren't working. I've checked the firewalls in both Ubuntu and Windows, but nothing seems to block it. You tried using Superuser for Telnet with the credentials fiberhomesuperadmin/sfuhgu, but only backup options are available. Could you share any further details or steps you've taken? Looking forward to your feedback. Best regards, Lance

Hello, it looks like your router lacks Telnet functionality. Don’t give up—activate the Telnet Client on any Windows version. Navigate to “Control Panel,” then “Programs,” and choose “Turn Windows features on or off.” Check the “Telnet Client” box. Launch the Command Prompt and replace the placeholder with your gateway information. Note that some routers already enable Telnet by default if the option isn’t listed in their web interface. If this doesn’t resolve the issue, consider purchasing a new router with a built-in Telnet switch? I’m not an expert in router reviews. Your model is AN5506_04F1A, but it differs from mine.
