You're having trouble linking ISO files with Windows Explorer?
A few days ago, iso files stopped being linked with Windows Explorer and now seem completely disconnected. When attempting to connect via Windows Explorer (c;\windows\explorer.exe), I receive the error message: "cannot associate this file type to this program". The .iso extension is missing from the default apps list in Settings->apps->default apps->set default app by file type. Since everything functioned properly before, I’m curious about what might have caused this issue. It seems to be specific to this PC, as the same problem doesn’t occur on another Windows 11 machine where everything works fine. Any suggestions or ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
Operating system version is Windows 11 Pro 25H2 with build 26200.7705. On device 26200.7623, the .iso files appear ready to mount upon right-clicking them.
What are you implying about it being an update issue, and how can I revert to version 7623? My other system runs build 26200.7171 and functions properly.
