You can find an older Lenovo I3 at a low price (under $100) and install an i7 3770 with a GTX 970. This setup can work as a gaming PC if you have a strong PSU—you might need to upgrade it. We built two similar setups and they performed well. My friend’s old PC is still functional, though the thermal performance isn’t ideal; we managed to fit a front fan behind the Skyrim logo.
