I've checked several options and tried different setups. Memtest didn't catch any issues, even after testing both sticks separately. The fix seems to be using Patriot RAM with a compatible ballistix sport module in dual channel mode. Adding the other Patriot stick in single channel also worked without problems. It might be a compatibility issue or a manufacturing problem affecting certain configurations.
