I'm setting up Windows 11 home on a PC and the setup keeps freezing. I tried using a USB stick on a laptop, which worked then, but not on the PC. The installer seems to be outdated—like a 10-year-old version—and that’s not the problem, since it also happens with Windows 10. I’m planning to try Windows 8.1, but I’m hoping someone can help! I have plenty of time, so if it takes a while, it won’t be an issue.

Ensure all power cables are securely connected. If so, can you confirm the BIOS is running smoothly?

A defective part may lead to the PC freezing and stop the windows installation from completing.

Sure, I can do that! What would you like me to rewrite?

I've used the bios several times, around 5 to 6 times, and it remains very stable.

I also replaced the core 2 duo with a Core 2 QWAD new thermal compound, etc.

I don't install software myself, but I can guide you through the process. Let me know if you need step-by-step instructions!

Consider using a different port or verify that your front panel connectors are correctly connected (refer to the motherboard manual).
