Hi Everyone, Important Reminder: All devices are connected to a powerboard equipped with a surge protector. The 8 socket powerboard has a computer, three monitors, and a standing or sitting desk. To rearrange the room, I’ll need an extension cable from the wall outlets to the powerboard. Question: Is it safe to run an extension cable through this setup? I just want to avoid any damage. Thanks ahead!

What voltage do you have? 220V or 110V? Use a sturdy extension cord in either case, though it’s especially important if you’re limited to 110V. It should work just fine unless your wiring is really bad. To be clear, I’m not an electrician and can’t give reliable guidance on this topic—just what I found online. I’ll handle it myself. Keep in mind, not every extension cable is the same—prioritize quality over cheap deals. For example, if you require 5 meters, avoid a 10-meter extension and don’t link two 5-meter sections when you need 10 meters total.
