I am experiencing issues with Destiny 2 on 1920x1080p at low settings, consistently achieving less than 35 fps.
My system stats are: CPU – Intel Core i7-7700HQ, GPU – NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 (4GB GDDR5), RAM – 1x16GB DDR4, storage – 256GB SSD + 1000GB HDD, display – 15.6” Full HD (1920 x 1080).
I’ve completed a user benchmark test and found the results at [userbenchmark.com/UserRun/26186274].
I’m unsure what to do and it’s becoming extremely difficult to play. Any advice would be appreciated.

Malware can perform those actions. I’d begin with a scan using Malwarebytes or similar tools. What are your idle and load temperatures for the CPU and GPU?

Is the performance consistently poor during gaming?
Are all applications or apps showing significant slowdown?
Was there any variation between before and after the optimization?
Was this issue always present, or is it a recent problem?
Did you assemble the computer yourself?
Are there any background CPU-heavy processes (such as malware or multiple antivirus programs)?

I'm using an Asus Rog Strix GL553 laptop, and I haven't overclocked it. The performance has been really poor lately—it's not playable at all. I've tried to figure it out but it's been this bad. I'm asking for help because the frame rate is extremely low. I have Discord and Destiny 2 open, and I think there might be malware, but I'm not sure how it affects my performance. Thanks for your assistance—I really want to fix this as soon as possible.
