Hey there, I've got a setup with 9900KF at 5GHz all-core, 1.345V Corsair H100i Platinum AIO. The front intake uses a pull configuration on MSI MPG Z390 GAMING PRO CARBON motherboard with Corsair Vengeance LPX 32GB RAM (4x8GB, DDR4 3200MHz). I'm running Samsung 970 Pro for the OS and 970 Evo for gaming. The PSU is a Gigabyte GeForce RTX 2080 Ti Windforce OC 11GB EVGA SuperNOVA G3 750W 80 Plus Gold, paired with a Corsair Carbide 270R case and three 24" 1080p monitors (two via DisplayPort, one HDMI). I don’t use surround sound, just an extended desktop setup.
I’m running into issues with XMP profiles and manually setting RAM to 3200 MHz. It seems tricky to hit that speed even with stock or auto settings without running into crashes. I’m hoping someone can share tips or methods to optimize performance for gaming, ray tracing, and CAD work. Realistic expectations are welcome! Thanks a lot!
Hi, I see you're experiencing stability issues after applying XMP. You mentioned resetting the BIOS and then setting XMP with a fixed 5GHz and 1.345V. It seems adjusting the voltage and core clock might help. Let me know if you need further guidance.
Running at 5 GHz on 1.34 is quite high if you're aiming for the same boost and want to check if increasing the voltage helps.
