Hello, my name is Jay Holloway. I need assistance upgrading my computer memory. I want to ensure the correct MHz match with my motherboard and avoid any mistakes. My specs are: 1300MHz speed, AMD FX 6300 with 3.50GHz, 8GB RAM, Windows 10, AMD Radeon Rx 560 series. I have an ASRock 760G HDV gaming board and am aiming for at least 32GB of DDR3 memory. Could you help? Thank you very much.

It's best to opt for 16 GB unless you have a strong need for 32. DDR3 is no longer viable, and you won't be able to repurpose it once you upgrade other components. 16 GB is sufficient for a brand new setup and won't exceed your budget.

The question asks whether a 16GB SSD can use DDR3 memory or if it needs to operate within the 1300 MHz target frequency range.

Faster modules will merely reduce to 1300mhz.
