Last year I purchased an A10-7700k with 2x4GB RAM in dual channel. At the time it performed well, mainly because I played League of Legends and occasionally CS Go with friends. In CS Go I consistently achieved over 60 frames per second. Recently, I upgraded to a 1030 because it was on sale. My issue is that regardless of video settings in CS Go, I consistently experience random stutters and only 50-70 FPS. I noticed higher FPS when using the APU. I’m confused about this. In League I see much better performance with higher settings. Although CS Go is CPU-heavy, my CPU usage stayed around 40-60%, yet I saw lower FPS.

I’m glad the deal was great—it’s better than 1050/Ti, which is a solid gaming GPU. Do you have the newest drivers handy?

I thought it was worth it because in my country during the sale I mentioned the GT 1030 cost me half the price of a GTX 1050 and three times less than a 1050 Ti, and I have the newest drivers.

GT cards aren't intended for gaming use. They're mainly suited for systems without an integrated GPU or where additional monitors exceed the motherboard's capacity. According to Passmarks testing, GT1030 performs worse than GTX750/Ti, which are older models.

Answer to your question is: GPU just isn't performing at same level as your APU was. There isn't more to it. GT series isn't meant for gaming. You aren't first with issues after getting GT series GPU. Solutions: Lower resolution. Check if GPU is at 100% usage all the time. CPU being used only 40-60% means GPU is bottlenecking it. Out of curiosity, is 750 priced at same level with 1050 if its twice the price for 1030? Your pricing seems to be close to what the differences are here, but since 750 is 3 years old, I can't see retail prices for it anymore.
