Hi, I have a compact Dell OptiPlex 380. It used to have two dimmers with 2GB each, but now those are active. I wanted to reinstall it as a secondary PC for school, so I ordered a set with one dimmer and 4GB RAM. During installation, I received a beep code indicating a programmable interval timer failure. After checking the bottom lights, I narrowed it down to a RAM issue. I removed the existing RAM from the PC and it worked fine. I found out I needed a BIOS update to support 4GB per slot. After updating the BIOS, I powered down and installed the new RAM, but the beep codes persist. Could anyone assist me with this? Thanks.
