I press the install button and see a pop-up stating missing media drivers. I’m downloading Windows from my M1 Mac using the Win 11 ISO and converting it to a bootable file. I’m unsure if this issue is typical for others. I’ve watched YouTube tutorials on the subject but haven’t found a solution that works for me. Changing the USB slot helped, then I adjusted the BIOS settings which caused problems so I had to reset the CMOS.

I can't display or send screenshots directly. However, you can describe the error details, and I can help guide you on how to capture it yourself.

What does it mean to "change the file to be bootable"? Do you possess a Windows machine capable of using Microsoft’s media generation software?

You're likely viewing a message indicating that Windows setup can't locate your SSD/HDD. Even if your BIOS/UEFI recognizes the drive, the setup tool doesn't know how to communicate with the SATA controller driver to send commands for storage operations. The fix involves installing the appropriate SATA controller driver on a USB flash drive and using "Load Driver" or "Browse" to select it. Make sure the file is an .inf script, not a zip, executable, or MSI package, as Windows needs this specific format to function properly.
