I've been checking CPUs that fit my motherboard and discovered the i9 9900K works with my case. Is it a good choice? Or would an 8700K perform just as well? I play games occasionally but have background apps that use 20-40% of my CPU power, causing slowdowns when I play. I’d prefer to keep my current setup for now, hoping to get more performance out of it. I haven’t seen many i9 9900K models with Z370 on YouTube, so I’m looking for some advice before making a purchase. Thanks.
