Haha, I've never experienced a clicking noise during an Intel CPU installation, and I've assembled several PCs. Although pins are sensitive in both configurations, the likelihood of touching them if you handle Intel properly is much lower than with AMD, since they're not exposed. It also doesn't impact things when removing the CPU cooler, unlike AMD where it can often cling to it and require a tricky twist to release.
