Did you try the setup on raw hardware? There seem to be compatibility problems. Installing it in a VM isn't uncommon anymore, but I've only used it in a VM for a day now. It would take longer if installed directly, and I've tested it on two different systems without success. The Pringles background looks great. (Did you activate it? I had to run a script with a generic key.)

Am I the only person in the room who isn't looking forward to Windows 11? There hasn't been any Microsoft feature update that really sparked my interest since the shift from 98 to 2000. In fact, if I could still run Windows 2000, I would. Windows 10 feels like a design mess in my view. The interface is stuck in an identity crisis, and many elements are hard to read. I don't really like Apple as a brand, but Microsoft could take some lessons from Apple on the basics.

Have you attempted an on-site upgrade from version 10?

No, that didn't work for you. I won't use it as my main operating system; I'll keep it on a second drive, which means I'll have to install 10 and then upgrade.

Sure, just install the ISO and it worked perfectly—even automated the activation. Honestly, it’s fine to run as the main OS; the core remains 10, only the UI and theme changed. Everything I used to function just like before, all drivers stayed intact and worked smoothly after the upgrade.

Consider whether you'll receive notifications or face limitations due to the ISO format.

I put it on my laptop because I mainly use it for browsing the web, YouTube, email, and light emulation. If I need to reset everything, I’ll have to do it myself, but since I’m in the Insider program, I think I’ll get the newest version via the Windows update on June 24th.
