You should check the voltage requirements for your X4 860k with the Hyper 212 Evo. With a 500W power supply, ensure it meets the necessary specifications for safe operation. Consult the manual or manufacturer guidelines for precise details on OC settings.

The stock speed needs to be adjusted to 3.7Ghz.
For most FX and FM2 Amd CPUs, you can expect roughly an additional 800Mhz overclock.
By entering your BIOS and adjusting the CPU’s multiplier to 22.5, you should reach a maximum clock speed of 4.5Ghz.
Calculate the final clock speed by multiplying 200Mhz by your chosen multiplier.
Once set, change the core voltage to 1.38v and remember to save your changes before exiting BIOS.
Check if the CPU boots at 4.5Ghz into Windows and reaches the desktop.
Install a temperature monitoring tool for the CPU to keep track of its performance.
Download and run a CPU burn-in test program to verify stability.

The desired stock speed should be set to 3.7Ghz.
For most FX and FM2 Amd CPUs, you can anticipate roughly an additional 800Mhz overclock beyond the base CPU speed.
By adjusting your BIOS settings and modifying the multiplier value to 22.5, you should achieve a maximum clock speed of 4.5Ghz.
Calculate the final clock speed by multiplying 200Mhz with the new multiplier.
Adjust the core voltage after setting the multiplier.
Set it to 1.38v and remember to save your changes before exiting the BIOS.
Check whether the CPU boots at 4.5Ghz into Windows and reaches the desktop.
Install a temperature monitoring tool for the CPU to keep track of its performance.
Download and run a CPU burn-in test program to assess stability under overclock conditions.
Monitor CPU temperatures closely during the burn-in process.
If the system freezes or an error occurs, consider either reducing the multiplier by 0.5 or slightly increasing the core voltage to 1.25v.
Avoid exceeding the core voltage of 1.5v.
