Starting from your Windows installer and selecting "Install Windows but keep files and settings" will resolve the issue. Usually, I opt to save what I require and clear the rest.

It's a bit more challenging to reconfigure, but backing up and installing cleanly seems smoother. For apps like Discord, Steam, and Chrome, Ninite can help you install everything at once instead of visiting sites individually.

It should work easily. Keeping a USB with a Windows installer is convenient—they’re simple to create and have saved me many situations.

I think Windows might be a better choice for me, or at least it feels more stable. I really dislike having to reset it, and since I've noticed poor performance after the upgrade, I'm probably going to stick with it.
