so im getting this popup on windows all the time telling me that my windows license is about to expire but i bought a pre built idk what should i do maybe send it back to the company i got it from

Yep, post a screenshot... likely some webpage popup spam, or you installed some malware.

Windows remained valid indefinitely upon correct installation. Possibly only the activation window lasted. If you have Windows 10, you can disregard it and operate without major restrictions.

The pop-up reminds you that Windows isn't expiring, you just need activation. You have the option to activate or simply ignore it and keep using Windows without activation. Just dismiss that message when it appears occasionally.
