My Windows 64-bit version works well after a fresh install, but launching six instances of my software causes significant slowdowns. The lag begins when more than 150 Diablo 2 instances are running simultaneously (five Kolbot instances). Even without obvious bottlenecks, performance drops sharply beyond that number. At exactly 150 instances the system becomes unresponsive. I’ve checked CPU usage at 60%, with two X5660 GPUs at 3.2GHz each, totaling 12GHz. RAM usage is 14GB out of 40GB, and I’m using a 250GB SSD. The GPU stats show one GTX 1050 (1%) and one GTX 770 (10%). I ran stress tests with Prime95 and JamSoftware’s HeavyLoad, which completed without issues at 100% load.

You're probably grinding in Diablo 2 because you enjoy the challenge, or maybe you're just passionate about collecting gold.

Seems like you're frustrated with the delays. Let's get this done!

It seems the delay stems from many active processes or threads, taxing the Windows scheduler and reducing its capacity for other tasks.
