Around September 21st on Sunday, I noticed my PC without WiFi. Perplexed, I attempted several fixes but nothing resolved the issue. Upon checking further, I realized my networking features were disabled. This wasn’t the first time—about a month ago, after installing new drivers, the internet worked fine, but now everything is down. My NativeWifi Filter was missing entirely. When I tried to launch services, I received Error Codes 1068 or 5. With the whole network stack broken, I can’t connect via Ethernet or download anything. I considered a repair install, but I’m unsure if that’s the best approach. Also, how did this happen so quickly? What triggered it?

I believe you could eliminate and then include the service. It may appear in the section where you can hyperlink.

It turns out my earlier answer was incorrect; it’s not that simple. There’s a list of services needed under the properties tab, and I suspect one is stuck and won’t run due to bad registry entries. Depending on how much time you have, you can either keep trying this issue or restart the PC and move forward.

Verify startup from a Linux USB drive to determine if the problem lies with Windows.
