I've started observing this more frequently since it hasn't been a concern months ago. Regarding the virtual memory paging file, you're using the default setting for automatic management, but I'm still puzzled about why it's reaching its limit. Shouldn't it keep growing as needed instead of capping? I found a suggestion that the paging file size should be three times the physical RAM size. With 32GB of RAM, that would mean setting it to around 98,304MB. Would you like me to test that configuration and monitor the results?

It seems the information is being referenced frequently, though the reasoning isn't clear. Generally, the virtual memory size should be about 1.5 times the available RAM and three times for maximum capacity. Make sure the device has sufficient free space to accommodate the new page file.

Also, were you looking for performance reasons to review it? Otherwise, you usually don’t need major adjustments unless specified.

The PC is likely experiencing resource issues. Have you checked the task manager and ensured it's saving frequently used memory?

Check if there are any issues with memory leaks reported by Copilot and consider removing them if confirmed.

I understand, I'm checking if raising the starting value would cause issues. I notice I need more disk space initially—about 130GB already. It seems fine now, no lag or performance drops, but I keep seeing a red warning when launching HWinfo64 and starting game sessions to log data like clocks, temperatures, and power usage. I've been using this setup for a while now, and I haven't really felt any slowdowns before. I'm not sure if this was an issue on my Intel system a month ago, but switching from Intel to AMD recently hasn't triggered this warning. My current specs are: Z690 ATX DDR5 6000 C36 with 64GB (4x16GB), 2TB PCIe Gen 4.0 NVMe, and a Ryzen 7 9700X B650E-F. I'm also running an RTX 4090 and have two 32GB DDR5 6000 C36 sticks. If I try to boot with only 32GB now, it won't work properly, so I'm planning to upgrade later. As for updates, I've kept mine enabled for about 14 hours ago.

I focus on one task at a time if that's your intention. I have Discord, Steam, and Google Chrome open with just a few tabs, maybe some YouTube. While browsing the web, Reddit, or forums, I close all Chrome windows. The app that uses the most memory is always Google Chrome.

Could this be the reason I'm feeling this way? I'm trying to figure it out, but maybe you can share this post if possible.

It should work then. Probably, as long as you don’t exceed the available space, it won’t cause any issues. Still, it seems wise to keep using the 1.5x to 3x options.
