Your Uplay account has been compromised.
Today was quite a situation. I looked at my inbox and noticed a request to update my Uplay email, password, and turn on two-factor authentication. After speaking with Ubisoft, they mostly assisted me, but soon after we spoke, they attempted to log back into my account. When I called them again, they successfully set up my own 2-step verification and changed my password. So far, I’ve managed to regain control of my account. It was strange since their actions were mostly limited to updating my profile picture and blocking all my friends except one random person. Everything is now resolved. I’m relieved they fixed it before any further issues arose. It’s unusual for Uplay to be a target, especially since I only play Siege and never share my login details. It looks like Ubisoft should strengthen their security measures for accounts.
It doesn't seem like the game was hacked, it appears your account was compromised. These are separate issues. If you used a simple password without two-factor verification, it might have been brute-forced. That's why you should choose a strong password like 0Fr02:'d[o2pkf instead of poTaTo524
It's accurate, but more of my account information. I wasn't aware of the two-step verification process, maybe because I don't use it much. It's definitely not because my password is something basic like "123memes."
finish all three rounds against the Blue team with a spawnkilled. Finally, faith: will you pray to Tachanka even though your hostage just got Fused? Pass all tests and you'll receive the Tachanka Elite Loadout.
It’s simple when there’s an English term or part of your username involved.
