You might want to think about reinstalling Windows instead of keeping it on 8.1. Since your laptop had issues with Windows 10, going back to a more stable version like Classic Shell could help. It’s better to address the problem now rather than risking further instability.

I enjoyed it. What aspects didn't you appreciate earlier?

You're experiencing ongoing problems, and it seems updating the NVIDIA and Creative drivers has been difficult.

It depends on your perspective; I'm holding off unless Vulcan becomes common since dx12 is the only thing I truly want.

My AMD drivers weren’t working well, the GPU temperature stayed high at 511°C during idle, and it felt slow. I have a Broadwell i5 with 8GB RAM, so it’s unlikely the issue was hardware.

Minimal problems during updates, clean setup functions well; occasional glitches exist, but nothing prevents upgrades.

It's not just me, right? Assuming Windows would always function perfectly is similar to expecting Apple products to be consistently affordable. *groans*

Windows 10 performs well in general. Minor BootCamp issues with keyboard features are likely personal. Overall, it receives a solid positive rating!
