Hello. Here’s a simplified version of your post:

I’m working with an i5-8600k processor at 3.6 GHz base speed. It hasn’t been overclocked yet. My current build uses the ASUS ROG Strix Z370-E motherboard, paired with a 2666 MHz PSU and 2x8 GB of DDR4 RAM. I’m using Logitech G602 wireless mouse.

My journey began in late 2017 with an i3-4150 and a Gigabyte board. The same PSU worked well then. Later, I noticed my PC would start up on its own after hibernation. I thought it might be the mouse, but checked BIOS settings—wake-on-LAN and mouse were off.

After some research, I found that Gigabyte boards let you set power-saving modes. Enabling one resolved the problem. Then I upgraded to an i5-8400 and a Gigabyte B360M-HD3 in 2018, which brought the issue back. Again, turning on the power limit helped fix it.

Recently, I got a free upgrade to my current specs (my brother upgraded to a 10900k). The problem returned. I disabled fast boot in Windows and turned off mouse sleep settings. BIOS options like Wake-on-LAN seem disabled. The issue appears only during hibernation, not shutdown.

The PSU has stayed the same across all three PCs. It hasn’t shown any faults except this one. If you know what ASUS model matches Gigabyte’s 1W mode, that would be helpful. Thanks for your help!
