For some reason, no matter what adjustments I make, my stream always appears distorted. It becomes blurry when I move and I really dislike it. I own a solid PC with a strong CPU for streaming, but I’m disappointed because my Ryzen struggles to maintain FPS without dropping. My bitrate is set at 6000, which matches Twitch’s new limit, yet during intense Fortnite fights it becomes grainy and not clear. When my PC shakes or lags, the visual quality drops sharply. If anyone can help explain why my stream looks so bad despite good settings, I’d appreciate it. Specs: Ryzen 1700X 1060, 6GB RAM, 16GB storage, 3200MHz, MSI X370 gaming card, Wi-Fi 90/90 Mbps. I used nVideo and the same profile as a friend—his stream stays crystal clear. Same settings? Why the difference?

You mentioned several concerns about streaming performance. I need to clarify which one you're referring to: 1) FPS drops due to GPU overload, 2) frame loss from CPU or insufficient upload speed, or 3) stuttering or blurry streams caused by low viewer downloads. Also, your upload speed is crucial—please share that detail so I can assist further.

Dropping frames suggests your CPU encoding settings are too strict. This could also cause your video to appear blurry. Consider reducing the preset to Faster or Very Fast. If this doesn’t resolve the issue, switch to NVENC.

Sorry for the mistake, both my up and down speeds are 90 Mbps. I have good Wi-Fi performance that supports a 6000 bit rate.

I'm in agreement with you on the second point! It seems like the issue might not be with my GPU. My CPU might be the problem, though I'm not sure. I tried streaming with nVNC today and noticed improvements—no blurring, less pixelation, and better FPS.

I also gave it a shot on Venv and it works great. The issue was that in Task Manager the CPU never hit even 90% usage, and no matter how fast I tried, it still looked terrible. So I’m sticking with Venv.

x264 might behave unexpectedly even at high usage levels. In my opinion, it's better to rely on a CPU-based encoder paired with a dedicated system for encoding and uploading videos. Using NVENC is the optimal choice if you want to maintain quality and efficiency.

It seems you're experiencing blurriness during intense scenes, possibly due to low bitrate. Raising the bitrate could help, though it might not always be possible. A video will walk through this in detail.
