My performance is actually worse than expected. Running AMD FX 8150 at 4.2 GHz with R9 290X and BIOS updates brings me down to around 30 FPS, maybe a bit higher in the low 40s. I’m hoping a better driver will help. SW: Battlefront gave me similar results; after using a video driver for optimization, my speed jumped noticeably. Curious how others are doing. Thanks!
It's a great idea to have a companion for the game, as it really enhances the experience. Playing alone can become monotonous. The Dark Zone becomes much more exciting when shared with friends. Particularly thrilling is the feeling of robbing and defeating everyone together.
I'm running on a 3440x1440p setup with a 980ti processor, usually staying in the 50-60 frame range, though I occasionally hit the high 30s. It doesn't affect my performance, and the game is already at its peak.
It costs 40€ on Instant-gaming: https://www.instant-gaming.com/fr/289-ac...gr=1402776. I've adjusted most settings to extra quality at 3440x1440, achieving 30-50fps with an i5 6600k and GTX 970. The download needs about 30GB and you'll need roughly 40GB of storage.
It seems you're curious about the impact of something at work. Are you asking about a specific change or adjustment?
Intel i7 6700K GTX 980 Ti with two OC units from Gigabyte G1 Gaming, paired with a 16GB DDR4 memory at 3000MHz. This setup achieved around 60-70 frames per second at the highest resolution of 3440x1440. Switching to 2560x1080 added only a slight improvement, roughly five frames faster. The game runs well under moderate settings, but maxing out can push performance to about 150fps. Make sure drivers are up to date to ensure optimal performance.
It might help a little. It's hard to say for certain... With AMD, keeping up with the newest drivers is important when playing new games, no matter their certification status.
