I received a replacement bracket since I had to upgrade my CPU cooler, but it lacks screw holes and instead has just holes that cause the screws to come loose. 59995425993__7CBE14C2-403F-4F6F-B1D1-BEB9A3093373.MOV

Where did the retention bracket go? It’s not necessary during CPU cooler installation.

I did it since the old bracket secured the retention bracket and the cooler, so I changed the bracket to fit the new cooler.

The best suggestion is to locate screw nuts and place them below. You’ll also require the retention bracket installed.

Consider using the existing bracket, making the necessary holes to allow screws for attaching the cooler to be inserted, then place it in that manner.
