So here is a video of the main problem; out of "nowhere" the monitor just starts going black and after some of these "flashes" it displays static noise, at times it displays the game again just to go back into the same cycle or the noise persist so the only way of "resetting" is by unplugging and plugging the HDMI cable. Yakuza 0 is unplayable, but on Elden Ring, the black screens happen on loading screens, and SOMETIMES while playing. The problem started a week ago when I moved the monitor from my room to the desk in the living room (literally on the other side of the wall, not even a meter) so I could work, at first after a couple of minutes on windows it wouldn't detect input and I thought it was the PC but after trying 2 GPU's, 3 different HDMI cables and even making sure it wasn't the PSU or the electric outlet I was convinced that it was the monitor. Something curious is that last week every time it wasn't getting an input it was after something "graphical" happened, like while turning on, wallpaper engine would start and it would make the monitor go black, I would try to open Davinci Resolve and it would go black (BUuUUuUT I knew the PC was up and running cuz I could hear whatever I had on the background through my headphones). But compared to now it no longer stays completely black but weirdly it happens on the loading screens and in the case of Yakuza it freaks out when loading scenes and changing dialogues, and the only thing I did was put it back in my room . It's worth mentioning that a friend gave me the monitor a little bit over 2 months ago since he had to go back to his country. Before moving it last week (I was careful when I put it on my desk just so you know ) I didn't have any problems. (This is the monitor model: MSI Optix MPG27CQ) I do have another display so I will try it later but in case the problem is the monitor either way I would like to fix it so any help would be amazing copy_E39976A9-5A2A-4BEC-9DFD-226194B29194.mp4

It might be a dead GPU. Present displays aren't advanced enough to mislead you during critical tasks because they can't interpret what's shown.

I've observed faulty power supply capacitors in action. At the workplace, we frequently encounter multiple units of this specific model with subpar design. Placing an inexpensive capacitor near a diode causes excessive heat, leading to discoloration and eventual failure. This results in a hissing sound from the monitor and flickering backlight. After the warranty expired, we replaced it with a premium capacitor rated for +125°C. Just to emphasize, testing another monitor or TV would likely eliminate this issue.

However, two dead GPUs are concerning. I’m fine with performance—everything runs smoothly and the games still work even without anything on the screen. I’ve had the main GPU for about eight months now.

Like the power supply for the monitor? actually, I kinda hear a hissing when the flashing is happening.

It seems the output device might be malfunctioning. Turning off the monitor doesn’t stop games from running, as seen with DaVinci. A black screen indicates load failure. If the issue persists and the unit is beyond repair—unless you’re an expert—consider replacing it.

The screen is the monitor; I needed to switch to a 1080p 30-inch plasma TV, which works great. Unfortunately, I have to move back to a 1440p 144Hz model. Thanks for your assistance.

It seems the issue is with the monitor. I tested it on my old TV and everything worked fine. It looks like the problem might be with the TV itself. Thanks for the advice!
