My computer functioned well for a year before suddenly the hard disk disappeared in Windows. It still works normally in BIOS and the drive appears in Windows, but not in Disk Management on Windows 11. The SATA HDD isn't showing up, yet the M.2 NVMe SSD is running. In Disk Management, the 2TB SATA HDD shows a measurement I took: unplug all cables, replug them, install a new Windows 11, tried every YouTube tip (including 40-60 videos), updated BIOS to the latest version, refreshed all drivers according to the manufacturer, changed AHCI to RAID, but couldn't update. The controller worked until one day after updating Windows 11, everything vanished from storage.

Run the command `sfc /scannow` as an administrator and press Enter. Check if this resolves the issue. If not, consider using a third-party tool to access the drive carefully, keeping in mind any data you might have. You may attempt formatting it to 32 bits and restoring the MBR, but doing so will erase all data—only proceed if you have backups. Note: If you recently installed Windows 11, also try `dism.exe /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth` in Command Prompt with admin privileges.

Thanks, but nothing helped. My motherboard is likely the Gigabyte B550M D3 with BIOS v17B. If anyone has advice, please let me know.

Do you want to verify the connection? Ensure the cable is correctly placed and consider swapping the SATA cable, as changing it might resolve the HDD problem.
