Hello, I found the used SIV tool from Gigabyte and saw that my CPU uses an x36 multiplier during idle instead of the expected x38. I checked with CPU-Z, which lists it as x37.75—very near to x38. Why does the manufacturer's utility display different results? I also own a GB450 motherboard.
Mine's multiplier drops to 28.8 when idle, influenced by system load and monitoring tools. HWiNFO64 stands out as the top choice for background operation, accurate tracking of lows and highs, and minimal resource usage.
Do you own a Ryzen 5 3600X? A low multiplier might be achievable. Are you applying an undervoltage setting? Do you use the Ryzen Power Saving mode?
