Hello, I understand you recently upgraded your PC with better components, but I’m not sure this explains why you’re asking. I previously had two 8GB (3200 MHz) units installed. Now I’ve added “old” parts from another machine and included an extra 16GB (3000 MHz) and 8GB (1200 MHz). The main concern is whether this setup is optimal. I currently have 40 GB of RAM, but I’m unsure what speed it’s actually running at. The Task Manager shows 2133 MHz, but I’m not sure if that’s accurate or helpful. Thanks for your assistance!

Frequencies are usually not ideal because faster memory slows down performance. It looks like you're combining different generations, which isn't compatible with DDR4. A better choice would be a 2x16GB 3200MHz DDR4 setup. Could you explain the workload needing 40 gigabytes and describe your overall system setup?

It's a bit better because it drops to 3000, though it's still tight. If you're really limited on space, go for another 16 GB 3000MHz card. Having matching cards is a sign of good habits.
