Gigabyte x470 AORUS Ultra Gaming works well, but adding more RAM won’t push it past 2400MZ without issues.

The board's memory support seems strong. It can handle up to 3600mhz [OC]. As mentioned before, you'll likely need to experiment with your OC settings to achieve a good mix of speed, voltage, and heat.

The 2700X memory controller supports only 2933MHz. Using 4 sticks can make it possible to run at that frequency, but starting at 2667MHz helps avoid instability. If needed, enable XMP and manually adjust to 2667MHz or let the board choose its own timing. Expect some trial and error. Good luck!
