Your CPU temperature changes between games, which is normal. With an i7-13700K and a high-end cooler, you should stay within safe limits. Monitor temperatures during intense sessions and ensure proper airflow. If it consistently exceeds 90°C, check cooling setup or consider a better cooler.

The 90°C reading is reasonable given your air cooler setup. The 13th generation Intel CPUs perform best with a bent correction frame for optimal temperature management. Are you currently using one or sticking to the default loading method?

It seems you're considering a 90° setup at 13700K with air cooling. Do you have strong airflow in your system? You might benefit from undervolting—MSI probably has a straightforward method for this. The contact frame could also make a difference. You could find affordable options on AliExpress for under $10. I did one myself; check the link: Edited March 16, 2024 by leclod
