My specs : i7-12700k Galax 3080ti Some asus z690 motherboard 32gb of DDR4 3600(tuned down to 3200 stability issue) 750w power supply i upgraded my main rig from 3060 to a used 3080ti. It only happened twice before I had to undervolt the gpu and happened one more times after the undervolt. Im not sure if the power supply can’t handle the wattage or something’s wrong with the gpu? Any help would be massively appreciated!!

Excessive undervolting may lead to your PC shutting down. If you're trying to conserve power by reducing voltage, especially on a high-end board like the 12700K, consider limiting power instead of lowering the voltage. I tested a 3090 ROG STRIX with a Corsair HX750 PSU for extended use, but it also ran hot with a 8700K. Using a 12700K might be pushing things too far. Not certain what the right balance is.

The type of 750W PSU you're using is unsuitable for your needs. It can only handle 600W or less, which won't provide enough power for the 3080 graphics card.

I just reviewed it again (it's an older model, about four years). It was a Micronics Classic II 850W power supply. I thought I was overloading it, but now I understand it should handle 12,700kW and 3,080V. Now I'm unsure what's causing the issues. Since then, crashes have been happening about a week ago. When I checked the Event Viewer, I couldn't find any matching entries. It freezes during a crash and shuts down after 10 to 20 seconds.
