I didn't encounter any problems with HDMI. I also waited for my headset to produce that noise, then quickly switched to HDMI and it worked fine. The sound resumed normally once I reused the headset.

I tried a splitter earlier and it was reducing the sound quality. I connected the headphones and PC speakers using an audiocard from its 3.5 output jack. Eventually, I had to stop using the splitter because of the loss in audio signal. Check if you can run it without it to see if the issue disappears.

Minimal or irregular static might occur due to poor connections or splitters. Switching sources could help clarify whether the problem lies with the motherboard or drivers. Have you checked the 3.5mm audio jack with another speaker? It’s unlikely the headphones are the cause, as some noise should come from something else. Uninstalling the audio drivers and reinstalling one from your motherboard manufacturer’s site might resolve the issue.
